Van Rooy Pastry is a family business that has been around for nearly 100 years. We specialize in producing puff pastry products such as pies, tapas cups, and sweet shells. What will you do?
Ensuring that quality is a priority and food safety is rock solid.
- Responsible for managing and safeguarding quality and food safety systems such as BRC-A, IFS higher level, and HACCP.
- Coordinating and conducting internal audits and supervising external audits. Ensuring that effective preventive and corrective measures are drawn up and implemented.
- Developing and standardizing quality policies and procedures in line with legislation and regulations, customer requirements, and the strategic goals of the organization.
- Initiating and supervising continuous improvement processes in collaboration with colleagues, aimed at increasing quality and efficiency within the organization.
- Interpreting and analyzing quality data to define and implement targeted improvement actions.
- Organizing and providing training in the field of quality and hygiene. Identifying training needs within the organization and responding to these with appropriate training.
- Maintaining contact with external stakeholders, including certifying bodies and customers.
- Working closely with all departments within the organization. Managing a quality assurance officer.
- Possibly a member of the management team and reporting directly to the Director.A people-oriented quality professional who takes responsibility and gets things done.

Job requirements
- A completed higher professional education (HBO) or university education (WO) degree in a relevant field (e.g., food technology).
- At least 4 years of experience in a quality position within a food production environment.
- Thorough knowledge of quality standards and legislation and regulations.
- Good command of Dutch and English.
